Canterbury Stars Return Endowment Fund
THE CANTERBURY STARS RETURN ENDOWMENT FUND was created in 2003 by the Canterbury Arts Centre Development Association and is under the auspices of the Community Foundation of Ottawa.
Over $118,000 has been contributed to the Endowment Fund. The value of the fund changes from year to year along with the stock market, but each year it will provide a return of 4.25% which can be used to support for the Arts Canterbury Program

A donation to the CANTERBURY STARS RETURN ENDOWMENT FUND will be supporting the Arts Canterbury program forever, because it will be invested in a professionally-managed investment portfolio and only the investment income from the Endowment Fund will be used to provide funds for bursaries, special projects and operating funds for the Arts Canterbury Program. As that principal amount grows, the income it can earn will also grow.

Letters of acknowledgment will be sent to the appropriate person if clearly stated with the donation.
Donations or bequests to the endowment fund may also be sent to CACDA, or directly to the Community Foundation of Ottawa at the address below. Please make your cheque payable to CANTERBURY STARS RETURN ENDOWMENT FUND. Donations of $20 or more to the Endowment Fund will receive charitable receipts from the Community Foundation of Ottawa within 3 months. If donating directly to the Community Foundation, your name but not the amount of the donation will be given to CACDA for recognition purposes and thanks. If you would prefer to remain anonymous, please let them know when you donate.
